Maybe I’m just not in the apple bubble enough to understand, but I keep reading a lot of “cringe. Omg apple failed” comments in relation to the articles stating smart TVs will get update with iTunes this year. Why is that? Isn’t apple expanding their reach a good thing? If you didn’t have an Apple TV, you weren’t watching iTunes content on your tv therefore a lot of people just weren’t buying movies and tv shows. But now that functionality will be built in along with airplay support.
Seems like a win for everybody right? Hell. I can even sell my Apple TV and use the tv’s built in ui to watch my movies.
